Aqeeda (Creed)
An Aqeedah (also spelled as Aqidah) course is an educational program that focuses on teaching the fundamental beliefs and creed of Islam. Aqeedah is derived from the Arabic word “aqada,” which means “to tie” or “to fasten,” indicating that these beliefs are the core foundation upon which a Muslim’s faith is built. The course aims to deepen the understanding of Islamic theology and strengthen the students’ beliefs in accordance with the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah (traditions) of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
